Meet the Founder
Sequoyah A. Glenn, MBA bka DataBae aka Queen Quoyah has created her own lane within the space of advertising by activating her passion for being as analytical as she is creative. Sequoyah’s 12-year career spans various media and entertainment companies + an ad agency where she was the first and only researcher.
Sequoyah’s career has allowed her to learn the business – what customers need in a partner, what their customers need in a brand, and how to drive positive results with anything she touches.
Sequoyah’s strategy and insights have led to the successful campaigns of some of the biggest brands known around the world. In 2019, Sequoyah went on to found the Black Marketers Coalition, an organization believing the importance of building relationships first, and doing business second. A few years later, she co-founded CultureMRx, an organization committed to Black insights professionals networking, collaborating, and upskilling with each other. When she’s not too busy working, she’s rolling her sleeves up as an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., mentoring students from the University of Georgia through the Atlanta Broadcast Advertising Club, speaking at various industry conferences, and lending her expertise in her board appointment with the University of South Florida’s Customer Experience Certificate program.
Sequoyah is committed to a life of learning, by listening empathetically to others, being kind and cooperative, and by never being afraid to get uncomfortable in an effort to become a better person!
